Large Waterproof First Aid Kit

This is a very impressive good quality kit. My husband and I were going through the items included and we kept saying they're a perfect addition to the set. We didn't have a go-to kit like this before and would just scramble for bandages, etc around the house as needed. Well, whoever planned the contents really thought of even the little things like tweezers (splinter on your finger?), safety pins and burn care gel (hot coffee spilled on your hand?). The size is just right for a "little of everything" so it's great for taking along on trips. CONS: (1) Price of $96; (2) The bag's too snug. There should at least be an inch of extra space.

SurviveX makes a great first aid kit. We have a different larger kit from them and thought we could make good use of this one on camping trips or when we're on the water.

Opening it, it hardly looks like the zipper has a seam. That's good for the water proof claim. Their video says it's IPX7 which means it can be submerged to 1 meter for 30 minutes without permanent damage.

Checking the zippers, if you have it even unzipped a little, water is going to get it, but what might help with that claim is that the contents and bag won't be damaged. Just about everything in the kit is already in its own sealed bag. The safety pins and a strap are not, but they're going to be okay.

If you do have it zipped up tight (the zippers seams really are amazing on this), you are going to be able to keep the interior pretty dry.

So, bottom line, even if water does get in to the bag, the contents are going to be okay. If you took it kayaking, it's not going to be a big deal if it's at the back of the kayak and gets water on it or sits in a puddle.

An alternative would be to get a different first aid kit and just put it in a large zip lock, however, this kit also is awesome for its contents.

Again for kayaking, the kit is a little on the large size. Not as big as their other first aid kids, but still good sized. The flip side of that is, this kit has everything.

The kit is extremely we thought out. The items are color coded for addressing:
- Wounds
- Hygiene
- Personal Care
- Tools

The bandages, dressing, and everything in the kit seems to be top notch. It's expensive, but a good value for what you get and the care that's gone in to the items and the design. It's also helpful that the items are very well labeled.

It may not have "everything," (food, etc.) but it sure feels like it has everything you'd need in a first aid or emergency situation where you need care and protection. Highly recommended.

This is hands down one of the best first aid kits. I have ever seen and especially, have ever had normally. I make my own first aid kit. S, because commercially bought ones don't have everything that I would want to have in my kit, but that's not the case with this. This kid has nearly everything you could possibly imagine you would need short of maybe some sutures or something, but there really is a ton of stuff in it, and the way that they have it packed and organized, and every single little pouch or slot has its own label to the type of items contained within it. Is an o CD person's wet dream.
The only thing that it doesn't come with that. I think it should is some sort of stop bleed type item.
And maybe some simple medications. However, they do sell separate kits, full of just medications and stuff that could easily be added to this.
I definitely highly highly recommend this kit the bag itself is also very rigid and one of the best quality bags i've ever seen

Wow, this thing is a beast! Not only does it have a little bit of everything, it's also in the nicest, most organized and carefully laid out first aid kits I've ever seen. If you look at the attached photos you'll see that every single component is organized into areas with very nice hard stitched labels attached. I can't think of anything that it would be missing from this kit. Very highly recommend!
