The 3-Pack ($19.99) includes 3 individually wrapped Zip Stitch wound closures — perfect for restocking your existing kit or keeping extras in your car, bag, or medicine cabinet. The Zip Stitch Kit ($29.99) includes 4 closures plus trauma shears, gloves, antiseptic wipes, dressings, and gauze — a complete wound care package.
The hospital-grade adhesive holds for days — even through sweat, oil, and water. Most wounds are sufficiently closed within 5–7 days, at which point you can gently remove the closure.
Yes — that's one of the main use cases. Every SurviveX first aid kit includes Zip Stitch wound closures. The 3-Pack lets you replace what you've used without buying a whole new kit.
Yes. All SurviveX wound care products qualify for FSA and HSA spending.

These are individually packaged which is good for storage and hygiene.
Each package has a diagram of how to use and a clear window to show the size.
The strip is a good large size.
You do need 2 separate hands to operate the closure so you cant use these your self, you need a second person to apply if using this on one of your hands/arms.
A good low-profile so you can apply dressing on top.
The clear color is non-obtrusive.
These are one-time only use.
Hopefully you will never need them.
Good to place one of these in each of your first aid kits.
got these to have 'just in case' i cut my self. i live alone, and thought these might come in handy if i (hopefully not) cut myself.
this comes with 3 'zip wound closures'. they seem like they are easy to use. you simply place one over a cut, and pull it tight. these are all separately packaged, so you could potentially keep one in separate first aid kids (home/cottage/car). my only note/warning: when i first opened the box, i peeled the tape off the outside and then stuck it to the inside of the box so that it was not in the way/get stuck to something. however, i managed to stick one of the 'closures' to the box, and when i unstuck it the package was a little opened, but it is still sealed so is still sterile/usable. so be careful when opening the box.
as these are currently unavailable i cannot comment on price, but if they are not overly expensive, but even if they ARE, they might be worth it to have just in case.
Didn't know these existed, but really glad I found them.
I'm not a 'doomsday prepper', but I do like having certain things on hand that you may never need, but that would absolutely come in handy in the event of an emergency. While I have a first aid kit with some gauze and a wide variety (shapes, sizes, styles) of bandages, I don't really have anything to help SEAL a cut. And I've definitely had cuts where I've been unable to stop the bleeding, and ended up having to go to the hospital quickly. While I feel these could probably require some practice to get really good at using/applying them, I'm certain these would give you that extra time to keep the bleeding stopped/slowed while you find professional care (or someone to give you stitches/staples, depending on your need).
In all, I think these are a really cool product, that I'd be happy to have on hand in the event of a deep/difficult cut that traditional bandages don't keep closed.
While I hope to never have to use these zip wound closures. These would certainly be of help if you‚Äôve made a big enough mistake and need to hold a wound together for dressing. I‚Äôve used some SurviveX products before and they‚Äôve been of great quality and reliability. My only wish is that there was more in a package. However I hope I never have to use three of these to being with üòÜ Like most direct contact wound care items these are also sterile. Thanks for stopping by hope this was of help.
Pricy but a very good addition to an advanced first aid kit. I got this for a IFAK trauma pouch as it is small and flat, sterile and provides a field-expedient solution if you are ever in a stressful situation with professional medial advice. Ive since decided that these are better suited to a bigger FA kit, not because of space but circumstances.
These would be used once bleeding has stopped and pressure can be removed from the wound - not the role of a trauma kit, but very useful in a backcountry kit where you may need to provide continual care after the ABC’s are dealt with, either pro to and in loo of evacuation to a hospital for proper stitches.
These aren’t the cheapest items around but are a specialized piece of medical kit and handy to have for those situations you hope never to encounter. I also like the clear packaging that allows you to see the zip close mechanism without having to break the seal, and the handy instructions on the individual packs. The QR code on the box is handy if you happen to have time and connectivity to watch the video, but is best for review before you pack these, to be best prepared.
I haven’t had to use these in an emergency and can’t speak to how well they work, how easy it would be to remove these without tearing open the wound, or how long you have to wait to do so, as that will vary with an individual. I’m happy to add these to my FA kit and have one more tool if I ever need it.
