Israeli Emergency Bandage

These Israeli pressure bandages arrive vacuum sealed, so they take up minimal space in my first aid kit. The instructions for use are on the side of the packaging, which is a good idea as a young never know who might end up using the bandage. They look pretty straightforward to use, and having this in my first aid kit gives me peace of mind as this is the type of thing that I'd rather not need and not have.

These emergency wound bandages are great for people to have in a first aid kit, especially if you were in a remote location and might not have assistance in dealing with a major wound. You can apply it with a single arm. Both are vacuum, sealed, and sterile for long-term storage.

These are shrink wrapped so they take up little space, but could be a life saver. I've got one stashed on the ATV for when the boys are out in the back forty playing with chain saws and one here at the house, for when they are playing with the wood mill in the back yard. I like that it could be applied with one hand if you had to, (hopefully not an issue). and No I haven't slept in years.

This is one of those products that I hope I never get to fully review, because if I do, it means I've had to use this trauma bandage. Having said that, this style of bandage is a MUST in any serious first aid or survival kit. When used correctly, it provides direct pressure to the wound site via a pressure bar. The ends of the bandage also have a built in clip, making securing the bandage extremely easy. This two pack comes in a fairly sturdy cardboard box with the instructions printed on the outside. This will be great for keeping at home, on a bathroom or closet shelf. If, like me, you're putting them in a first aid kit where space is tight, the inner packages are vacuum sealed and fairly durable. They also have all of the instructions printed on the back, though they will be hard to read until the package is opened, due to wrinkles caused by the sealing process. If you're looking to build a survival or first aid kit, I would certainly recommend having a look at these bandages to put in it!

The number one problem with trying to review this bandage is they are vacuum sealed and there is no way that I want to open the package until I (hopefully never) need it.

I worked in a career where deep penetrating wounds were a definite possibility, and controlling blood loss while in a remote location was an issue. Being trained in wilderness first aid showed us how to use these types of bandages to deal with with severe blood loss while emergency medical help could be hours away.

I really like that the instructions are printed on the side of the vacuun packaging so that if they are needed by someone untrained in first aid, they should be able to apply them. I know that mine will not be in the original cardboard box.

I now have these bandages in my vehicle first aid kit, my deer hunting pack and range bag. Being able to purchase multiple bandages is a lot easier than ordering them one at a time.

I am glad to see these types of emergency wound care products available to the public at a reasonable price.

Buy some and hope you never need them.
