Elastic Bandages

I had used these kinds of elastic bandages as compression wrap after lumpectomy. After surgery I had elastic bandages on for 4 days before changing into a sports bra. It gave the same great results with only a fraction of the price. My friend is gonna have the same surgery soon. These two elastic bandage wraps are 6 inches wide and although that appears large they work very well at immobilizing a joint. My retired nursing assistant spouse wrapped my wrist as that is what I normally need these type of bandages for and wow - it was rock solid. Not too tight and I could hardly move my wrist. As we were unpacking the wraps from their plastic wrap, we were wondering how we were going to end the wrap as there were no clips to hold the end? Velcro was the answer. Each end of these wraps have a Velcro strip and I can stick that strip to any part of the bandage wrap so no more trying to find those little metal clips.

My son is always pulling something in soccer and while the trainer will wrap for practice and games, I keep these at the house for when he comes homes from practice with yet another pulled muscle. Having two bandages means as one wears out or in being washed, I still have a back up. I like the 6-inch width for wrapping quads. At 15 feet each, you are going to wrap a large surface area, and the hook and loop fastener works for repeated use. There are no washing instructions, which would be useful.
