HOW TO PAY WITH QUALIFYING HSA/FSA FUNDS

HOW IT WORKS

Choose the "Pay with HSA/FSA funds" payment method at checkoutYou will be redirected to the Truemed website.
2.
Take a brief health surveyAnswer questions about your HSA/FSA and your health.
3.
Complete checkout through TruemedPay with your HSA/FSA card, or split your payment with an HSA/FSA card and a credit/debit card to cover the rest.
4.
Receive your Letter of Medical NecessityA licensed medical provider will review your responses and Truemed will send you a Letter of Medical Necessity if you qualify. If you do not qualify, you may cancel your order at any time prior to delivery.

COMMON QUESTIONS

How do I qualify to use my HSA/FSA funds through Truemed?

At checkout, you'll have the option to "Pay with HSA/FSA funds." This will direct you to the Truemed site, where you will take a health intake survey asking if you are working to treat, mitigate, or prevent a chronic health condition. Once you've completed the survey, enter your payment details - either your HSA/FSA card and/or a credit/debit card - to complete the checkout process. After checkout, your answers will be reviewed by a licensed medical provider and if you qualify, Truemed will provide you with a copy of your Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN). If you do not qualify, you will have the opportunity to cancel your order at any time prior to delivery. If you validly cancel your order prior to delivery, your refund will be processed through Truemed.

What is Truemed?

Truemed partners with health and wellness brands to enable qualified customers to use pre-tax HSA/FSA funds on health and wellness purchases. TrueMed partners with a network of medical practitioners who can issue Letters of Medical Necessity to qualifying customers, thereby allowing customers to spend pre-tax HSA/FSA funds on medically-necessary health and wellness products. What if I don't have my HSA/FSA card?

If you don't have an HSA/FSA card, subject to individual approval, you can pay with a credit or debit card to complete your eligible purchase using the Truemed checkout option. After you complete Truemed's health intake survey, you can submit payment via Truemed. If you qualify, Truemed will provide you with a copy of your Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) along with detailed instructions on how to submit your payment to your HSA/FSA plan administrator for reimbursement. You will need to submit your LMN and purchase receipt to your HSA/FSA plan administrator for reimbursement from your HSA/FSA funds. If you do not qualify, you will have the opportunity to cancel your order at any time prior to delivery. Can I still use the Truemed pay with HSA/FSA funds option at checkout if I don't have enough funds in my HSA/FSA account?

Yes. Truemed supports Split Pay, allowing you to use multiple payment methods for a single order, giving you the flexibility to split your payment in a way that best suits your needs. Subject to individual approval, you can also pay for the entire purchase with a credit or debit card through Truemed and submit a reimbursement request to your HSA/FSA plan administrator for up to the amount you have available in your HSA/FSA account. After you complete Truemed's health intake survey, you can submit payment via Truemed. If you qualify, Truemed will provide you with a copy of your Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) along with detailed instructions on how to submit your payment to your HSA/FSA plan administrator for reimbursement. You will need to submit your LMN and purchase receipt to your HSA/FSA plan administrator for reimbursement from your HSA/FSA funds. Is my HSA/FSA purchase eligible for the 30-day home trial?

Yes. We offer a 30-day return policy. If you purchase your first aid kit using HSA/FSA funds through Truemed and wish to return it within that period, return it in like-new condition. We will arrange the return and issue a refund. Please note that any return fees are the customer's responsibility and are not eligible for HSA/FSA reimbursement.
