We Exist Because the Middle Was Missing
The story behind SurviveX — and why we believe everyone deserves a kit that actually works.
How It Started
A clumsy dad, a market gap, and a stubborn refusal to settle.
If you met me, the first thing you'd notice is that I'm clumsy. Seriously — my kids inherited it. Band-aids are a household staple in my home. So when I went looking for a first aid kit that could actually handle our everyday chaos, I hit a wall.
There were two options on the market: cheap kits from the drugstore — the kind with a few flimsy bandages and an expired antiseptic wipe — or advanced trauma kits built for EMTs, packed with gear that most people would never know how to use.
"There was nothing in between. Nothing for everyday people like you and me who just want to be ready — without needing a medical degree."
That gap bothered me. With a background in product design, I knew the answer wasn't "more stuff in a bag." It was better organization under pressure — a kit so well thought out that when the moment comes, you don't fumble. You act.
So right here in Falls Church, Virginia, I set out to build what should have existed all along: premium first aid gear, obsessively organized, designed for real people in real moments.
